The minigames can be unforgiving.
Beyond the goofiness, the Beyoncé commercial, and the DSi hype, Rhythm Heaven is all about tapping and flicking the stylus in step with the music. For a game that’s so simple, Rhythm Heaven can be so compelling for casual and hardcore gamers alike. Does Rhythm Heaven meet or exceed the massive hype, or is it bargain bin fodder? Review Surfing – WarioWare: Snapped! (DSiWare)

The Nintendo DSi was released last April 5 and was met with commercial success, moving a ridiculous 435,000 units in its first week alone. Alas, the number of DSiWare games available stateside is still a bit meager. Fortunately, WarioWare: Snapped! is here to keep us occupied while we wait for the DSiWare library to grow. Is the game worth the 500-point purchase? The critics speak up.

Surviving a non-gamer Wii party with WarioWare: Smooth Moves

The commercial success of the Nintendo Wii shows us that gaming has indeed reached mainstream consciousness. We see young women and the elderly—both unlikely gamer types—pick up the Wiimote and experience the same enchantment that the “core” audience undergoes.
