The long-awaited Sonic game is finally here. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is “long-awaited” because the blue hedgehog’s games have been quite bad as of late. Sega, the franchise’s publisher, tapped legendary RPG maker Bioware to develop Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS. The million-dollar question: is The Dark Brotherhood good enough to bring Sonic’s groove back? That’s what we aim to find out today.

Sonic the Hedgehog is back in the Nintendo DS, but it’s not quite the same Sonic that we’re used to. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is an RPG—and get this—the game is developed by Bioware, a developer known for critically-acclaimed RPGs like Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Mass Effect.

Reviews – Spore Creatures (DS)
Spore Creatures is a charming game, and is nothing like its PC counterpart, but that’s not necessarily a bad or good thing. By itself, Spore Creatures is actually not bad. However, since the game carries the “Spore” moniker, comparisons and criticisms can’t be avoided.

RPG remake season seems to be at full swing. Final Fantasy IV was released last July for the Nintendo DS, and critics think it’s great. Chrono Trigger is also making its way to the dual screens this November. Could the same be said for the recently-released Dragon Quest IV: Chapter of the Chosen? Let’s find out.

Fans of the original SNES game would find the clips familiar, but watching snippets of this classic RPG in action never get old.
