EA reveals details on Dead Space: Extraction voice cast

Expect great audio in Dead Space: Extraction.
Later this month, another M-rated rail shooter “guided first-person experience” will arrive on the Wii. EA recently revealed more details on the voice cast of Dead Space: Extraction. You might gloss over the particulars, but if you’re a fan of the original Dead Space, you’re probably expecting that Visceral Games would devote the same care to Dead Space: Extraction. This video shows us just that.

Is Dead Space Wii a cash in or bonafide game?
As you may have heard, Dead Space is coming to the Nintendo Wii and it’s going to be a rail shooter “guided first-person experience.” It can’t be helped that the decision to make Dead Space: Extraction a rail shooter has raised some concerns, namely the impression that this Wii game is merely a lazy cash in. Maybe this new video providing some details on Dead Space: Extraction’s control scheme would change your mind.

Review - House of the Dead: Overkill (Wii)
House of the Dead: Overkill is exclusive to the Nintendo Wii.
The Nintendo Wii has been home to many rail shooters of late, and with good reason: the control scheme is perfect for pointing a cursor on the screen and shooting everything that moves. House of the Dead: Overkill is the first in the series to be released exclusively on a console. Unlike its predecessors, this new Wii rail shooter wasn’t made by House of the Dead creator WoW Entertainment. Instead, Sega tapped Headstrong Games for developer duties and from the looks of things, it was a great idea. House of the Dead: Overkill is oozing with zombies, brain matter, and fun.

Dead Space Wii is coming this Fall.
EA is quick to correct anyone that calls Dead Space: Extraction an on-rails shooter, and instead calls the upcoming Nintendo Wii game a “guided first-person experience.” The folks at EA Redwood Shores promise that Dead Space: Extraction would be “a little bit more” than a rail shooter. They tell us why in this latest interview.
