New Super Mario Bros. Wii is tough as nails

You're all in the same boat--literally.
Are you one of the gamers who found New Super Mario Bros. on the DS too easy? Great news: the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. Wii is going to be so hard your self-esteem is going to drop like a rock. At least, that’s what the game journos at MTV Multiplayer and Joystiq said. MTV thinks New Super Mario Bros. Wii is “as hard as Contra,” while Joystiq expects people playing the game’s coop mode to turn homicidal.
If like me, you find the idea of exasperating, controller-hurling gameplay a thrill, then you’re probably aching for New Super Mario Bros. Wii. While you’re waiting for the November 15 launch to arrive, watch the game’s latest trailer—maybe you’ll find something that strikes your fancy.
A snowball-shooting Mario costume? I can’t wait to freeze other players.

I am going to admit, this looks like one of the best games in the Mario series yet, and even as someone who’d already heard about the supposedly insane difficulty, I thought it was great. Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels 2 + Koopalings returning after 19 years? Can’t wait.
