LEGO DSi model weighs 250lbs
April 5, 2009 by Mike

That is one HUGE DSi.
The Nintendo DSi may be smaller and sleeker than its predecessors, but the LEGO model created by LEGO-”certified” professional Sean Kenney is anything but that. It’s big, blocky, and blue. According to Brothers Brick, Kenney was commissioned to make the 250-pound DSi model , which is currently on display at the Nintendo World Store at the Rockefeller Center in New York.
Check out how the LEGO DSi came together:
Kenney said in his website that the model was created to coincide with the DSi’s launch on April 5. The model is 7 feet wide, and comes with 51,324 LEGO pieces. It took Kenney 200 hours to put the whole thing together.
Yes, ther stylus is also made of LEGO bricks. Just don’t ask me how much it weighs.
