Guitar Hero World Tour shows off new screenshots for the Wii

Are you raring for Guitar Hero World Tour? You should be. The upcoming Guitar Hero installment would be the first in the series to have drum and microphone controllers for vocals and percussions. That means the gameplay in Guitar Hero World Tour would be similar to Rock Band.

Activision has recently released a bunch of new screenshots for the Nintendo Wii version (see below). Interestingly, Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii would feature a “Mii Freestyle” mode that lets you use Miis as characters. The mode also comes with the option to improvise songs using the Wiimote and nunchuk, or the guitar and drum controllers.

Perhaps the most compelling feature of this new Guitar Hero is the ability to create songs, which also lets you customize everything but vocals.

Guitar Hero World Tour is coming on October 26 in North America, November 7 in Europe, and November 12 in Australia. The most important question now: is your wallet ready for this season’s list of must-have games?
