Dead Space Wii might not be a cheap cash in after all

Is Dead Space Wii a cash in or bonafide game?
As you may have heard, Dead Space is coming to the Nintendo Wii and it’s going to be a rail shooter “guided first-person experience.” It can’t be helped that the decision to make Dead Space: Extraction a rail shooter has raised some concerns, namely the impression that this Wii game is merely a lazy cash in. Maybe this new video providing some details on Dead Space: Extraction’s control scheme would change your mind.
To make Dead Space scarier and not feel like a cheap cash in, developer Visceral Games decided to put in a “glow worm” mechanic, which works like a glow stick, with a twist. The glow worm provides light for a limited number of seconds, but you’ll have to shake the Wiimote to recharge it.
Another new gameplay element in Dead Space Wii is the way secondary fire is implemented. Instead of pushing a button, you’ll just have to rotate the Wiimote by 90 degrees. Of course, if you’ve developed cramps because of the glow worm, rotating the Wiimote would be a bit more challenging, even if your character’s life depended on it.
Visceral Games also revealed a tag-team mechanic between two players in coop where one would fend off enemies while the other fiddles with a puzzle. Players would switch responsibilities several times, keeping things quite interesting.
Admittedly, the video provides a lot of remarkable information on Dead Space: Extraction, so it might not be a cheap cash in after all. Obviously, we won’t be sure until the game comes out in late September. What do you think about the game after watching the video? Is Dead Space: Extraction a lazy cash in or full-fledged Wii game?

THIS LOOKS BETTER THAN DEAD SPACE ON THE 360 SO YEAH THEY ARE MAKING THE GAME EVEN BETTER IN MY OPINION
The Conduit gets hammered as a FPS but this game is getting recognition as a Rail Shooter? Graphics are fine to me but not close to HVS abilities. The Wii games take criticism a lot for Waggle and then we get a “Glow Worm” feature?!? This doesn’t sound like a great feature to me. The 90 degree remote turn for secondary weapon feature is a cool touch that would be great in future games. But I do like the way Red Steel allowed the gun to turn in your hand on-screen because in that game it just made shooting more realistic in my opinion. I praise their efforts but with The Conduit and HVS onboard for the Wii, my expectations for other companies is very high now. HVS showed what was possible. Here we are years into the life of Wii and the hardware is just barely getting exploited and it’s only by HVS so far.
This game looks terrible..
Is it me, or is it that every single game that “Tries” to be cool on the Wii fails?
The conduit is a terrible game (which promised to be amazing)
and now this game looks like complete trash compared to “Dead space” for the 360, and Ps3
They should just stop trying, and stick to lame games like Mario, Zelda, or Metroid, since those are the only games that Nintendo can actually make.

Erm, Nintendo isn’t making Dead Space: Extraction, you know. Just sayin’.
