Tips and Tricks – No More Heroes (Wii)
February 27, 2009 by Mike · Leave a Comment

For some reason, Dr. Peace wants to sing alone in a baseball field.
Talk about strange. No More Heroes for the Wii features some of the oddest enemies on this side of Nintendo consoles. This week, we feature the battle for rank 9. The enemy: Dr. Peace, a belting gun slinger with a penchant for blood. The battle isn’t really tough, but if you’re not careful, the good doctor will take you down easily.

Dragon Quest returns to the diminutive Nintendo DS.
Everyone loves a good yarn. In RPGs, the story carries a huge influence on the player’s enjoyment, but it’s not the only basis of the game’s overall quality. Factors such as gameplay, presentation, and overall polish are also considered. Square Enix’s Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride does all these in spades, but it’s the story that leaves you wanting for more.

Mario fights the Spartans of Halo
February 21, 2009 by Mike · Leave a Comment

Mario is at war with Spartans.
It’s official: the Mushroom Kingdom is at war with all the Spartans of Halo—at least that’s what a trailer tells us. There’s no rhyme or reason for the hostility, but the ensuing battle sure is hilarious. The action is also a strange sight as Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and Bullet Bills, all fight with Mario against the 3D Spartans. The video’s maker also made references to Dragonball Z. Can you find it amidst the chaos?

February 18, 2009 by Mike · Leave a Comment

Elebits is loaded with great bosses.
Elebits has made it to the Nintendo DS, but it’s not quite the same game as it was on the Wii. Unlike the Wii’s first-person adventure, The Adventures of Kai and Zero takes players on a multi-dimensional romp that’s part Pokémon and part Legend of Zelda.

Blood is the only color in Madworld.
