Nintendo pledges to bring more Wii, DS stock for Christmas

Remember the time when there was no shortage of the Nintendo Wii? Exactly—it never happened. GameStop even predicted that there won’t be enough Wiis again this Christmas. To address this issue, Nintendo promised to bring more Wii and DS stock into the UK this holiday season to cope with “unprecedented” demand.

Tips and Tricks – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

The Forest Temple is the first “dungeon” in Twilight Princess. In Zelda parlance, a dungeon is a sort of underworld (though it’s not always necessarily the case) that Link is supposed to conquer. Each dungeon contains an essential quest item, treasure, or boss to defeat. The Forest Temple presents a couple of bosses that Link must overcome. Today, we show you how to beat these foes.

Reviews – High School Musical 3: Senior Year (DS)

By most accounts, High School Musical 3: Senior Year is a critical and commercial success. Could the same thing be said for Nintendo DS game of the same name? If one is familiar with the history of film-licensed video games, the chances of having a good tie-in aren’t very encouraging. Does High School Musical 3: Senior Year buck that trend?

Review Surfing – Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (DS)
More and more critics are speaking up about Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. What’s interesting is that many of these staunch critics are known to be rather stingy in praise and generous in handing out censure (i.e. Destructoid, 1UP). Upon playing the franchise’s third installment for the Nintendo DS, the curmudgeons are now singing a different tune.

First-ever video for Ragnarok Online DS is shown

Ragnarok Online is big. So big that GungHo Entertainment, the game publisher that hosts the Japanese server of Ragnarok Online, decided to release a Nintendo DS version of the popular MMORPG. Rumors of the DS port surfaced a few months ago, but existence of the game remain unconfirmed—until today.

DSi prices inflate as Japan launch approaches
Nintendo’s DSi launch may be limited to Japan come November 1st, but from the looks of things, fans from all over seem to be bent on getting one too. How so? Because the handheld appears to be in short supply, causing prices to fly through the roof.

Japanese blog reveals Nintendo DSi box

Remember when we showed you Nintendo’s spanking new DSi handheld? Like the DS Lite, the DSi is a nifty piece of hardware. Unfortunately, everyone else outside Japan won’t get to enjoy the handheld until next year. Contributing to the itch, a Japanese blog (via Kotaku) was kind enough (or ruthless enough—you decide) to show what the DSi’s new box would look like.

Like any Zelda game, Twilight Princess begins with Link having three heart containers that serve as his hit points. As players progress through the game, several heart containers would be revealed. However, this wouldn’t be a proper Zelda game without all the secrets, correct? Pay attention, traveler, for the secrets of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that will be revealed to you today could very well affect Link’s quest to free Hyrule.

Get ready for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the long-running franchise’s third installment for the Nintendo DS. The game takes place after the events of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. For some strange reason, the Belmonts have disappeared, leaving no one to oppose Count Dracula and his dark minions. Enter the Order of Ecclesia, which somehow found a way to fight the undying vampire.
